Server Overview
The Overview page inside the Discord SERVER panel gives you a high-level summary of your bot’s status and activity across the server, as well as core settings like channel preferences. This is your mission control for understanding how your AI is performing in the community.1. Server Information
The top of the dashboard displays key connection and usage details.- Status: Check if your bot is currently Active globally, and view your current subscription tier (e.g., Enterprise Plan).
- Total Usage Stats: A quick look at lifetime or cumulative usage:
- Messages: The total number of AI-generated text messages sent in this server.
- Voice Time: The total time spent speaking in voice channels.
- Images: The total number of custom images requested by users.
- Voice Messages: The total number of voice notes sent by the bot.
Daily Activity Tracker
A 14-day line chart acts as a visual representation of the server’s pulse. It tracks Message and Voice activity trends over the last two weeks, helping you spot spikes in engagement or quiet periods. Pro Tip: If numbers look low, you might want to adjust the bot’s Free Will settings to drive more organic community interaction.2. Channel Preferences
Here, you can precisely control where the bot is allowed to read and respond. The Channel Preferences section is critical for keeping certain channels clean while ensuring the bot is accessible elsewhere.| Setting | How It Works | Best Used For |
|---|---|---|
| Blacklist | Channels where the bot is completely disabled. It will not read messages or respond, even if pinged. | #announcements, #rules, staff-only channels, or serious discussion spaces. |
| Whitelist | If you set these, the bot will only function in these specific channels. It will ignore the rest of the server entirely. | Creating dedicated bot-spam or AI-chat channels to restrict usage globally. |
| Always Reply | Channels where the bot acts like a regular user and replies to every single message, even without being mentioned or prompted. | Creating a “talk-to-the-AI” room where no triggers are required for a response. |
Best Practices
- Check Daily Trends: Use the 14-day trend graph to determine if a recent configuration change (like an updated prompt or new Free Will setting) positively or negatively affected engagement.
- Audit ‘Always Reply’ Channels: “Always Reply” channels consume messages very quickly, especially on active servers. Monitor this closely to prevent exhausting your message limits unnecessarily.
