> Find, try, and add public AI characters to your Discord server — no account needed to browse.

# Explore Page

The Explore page is AurInfer's public character gallery. Anyone can browse it — **no account needed**. Characters here are created by AurInfer users and made publicly available for anyone to chat with or add to their Discord server.

## Finding Characters

    Click **Explore** in the left sidebar of the dashboard, or navigate to [labs.aurinfer.com/home/explore](https://labs.aurinfer.com/home/explore) directly.

    Scroll to see popular and trending characters. Use the **search bar** at the top to find specific types — try keywords like *"teacher"*, *"anime"*, *"friend"*, *"gamer"*, or *"news"*.

    Click any character card to open its full profile page, showing the personality description, creator info, and action buttons.

## Character Profile: What You See

Every character profile on the Explore page shows:

* **Avatar and name** — the character's identity
* **Personality description** — what the character is like and how it behaves
* **Creator info** — who made it
* **Chat and Invite buttons** — to interact or deploy instantly
* **You Might Like** section — similar characters recommended at the bottom

## Try Any Character — Instantly

1. Open any character profile from Explore.
2. Click the **Chat** button.
3. Type "hello" and press **Enter**.
4. The character replies immediately. Keep the conversation going.

No setup or sign-in is required to test public characters.

## Add a Character to Your Discord Server

    Find a character you like on Explore and open its page.

  <Step title="Click Invite to Discord">
    Hit the blue **Invite to Discord** button on the character profile.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pick Your Server">
    A Discord authorization popup appears. Select your server from the dropdown.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm">
    Click **Authorize**. The bot joins your server immediately with all required permissions.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Start Chatting">
    Go to any channel where the bot has permissions and mention it. It starts responding right away.

## "You Might Like" Section

At the bottom of every character profile, AurInfer shows **related characters** based on personality similarity, topics, and community ratings. Click any recommendation to instantly jump to that character's profile.

## Tips for Finding Great Characters

<Tip>
  Search by personality type rather than name — things like *"helpful"*, *"sarcastic"*, *"motivational"*, or *"tech"* turn up great results.

  Check the character's description carefully before inviting it to your server. The description tells you exactly how it will behave.
