# Workspace & Session Guide

> Everything you need to know about the live session workspace — real-time transcript streaming, plan approvals, visual diffs, markdown document previewer, sandboxed testing, and Pull Requests.

# The Live Session Workspace

When a coding session starts, you are taken to the **Workspace Session View** (`/{botname}/github/studio/{jobId}`). This is where you monitor real-time execution, review code diffs, preview documents, approve plans, and submit Pull Requests.

## 1. Real-Time Streaming Transcript & Thinking Stream

The left pane displays the transparent thought process and progress of your AI engineer:

* **Thinking Drawer**: A collapsible thinking stream shows you what the AI is analyzing in real time, along with live execution timers.
* **Tool Invocations**: Clearly see when the AI reads files, searches the repository, looks up web documentation, or executes unit tests.
* **Voice Audio Playback**: Click the speaker icon on any assistant message to listen to natural synthesized voice audio.

***

## 2. Interactive Plan Approval Gate

If you started in **Interactive Plan** or **Review** mode, an approval banner appears once the plan is formulated:

* **Approve Plan**: Approves the implementation plan and immediately begins code generation and testing.
* **Request Changes**: Type your feedback or requested adjustments into the chat input, and the AI will revise the plan accordingly.
* **Destructive Actions Safety**: If a complete repository wipeout (`nuke`) is requested, the system presents a dedicated confirmation bubble requiring explicit confirmation.

***

## 3. Visual File Diff Inspector

The right pane provides a professional **Code Diff Inspector**:

* **Syntax Highlighting**: Full syntax highlighting for TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, HTML, CSS, Rust, Go, SQL, JSON, YAML, and Markdown.
* **Diff Modes**: Toggle between **Unified Diff** (inline view) and **Split Diff** (side-by-side view).
* **Pending Changes Counter**: Displays exactly how many files and lines have been added, modified, or deleted in the current turn.
* **File Switcher**: Jump between modified files with a single click.

***

## 4. Rich Markdown Document Previewer

When viewing Markdown files (`.md`, `.mdx`, `.markdown`), the inspector provides a segmented toggle at the top:

* **Preview View**: Renders the document with rich typography, formatted tables, syntax-highlighted code blocks, Mermaid diagrams, and mathematical formulas.
* **Source View**: Displays the raw markdown source with line numbers.

***

## 5. Sandboxed Code Execution

Before finalizing changes, the AI can run code in an isolated multi-language **sandbox container**:

* Runs unit tests (e.g. `jest`, `pytest`, `go test`).
* Evaluates script outputs and captures `stdout` and `stderr`.
* If an error occurs, the AI reads the error traceback, diagnoses the root cause, and fixes the code before completing the turn.

***

## 6. Git Commit & Pull Request Workflow

When you are ready to publish your code:

1. **Direct Commit**: Stages and commits the pending changes directly to the current branch.
2. **Feature Branch**: Automatically creates a clean branch named `ai/{task-name}` and commits the changes.
3. **Open Pull Request**: Commits the code, pushes the branch to GitHub, and creates a ready-to-review Pull Request with a title, description, and summary of changes.

***

## 7. One-Click Commit Undo

Made an accidental commit or want to roll back?

* Click the **⚡ Actions** menu in the top-right corner and select **Undo Last Commit**.
* AurInfer safely creates a clean revert on GitHub and restores the previous working state without messy git conflicts.
