# Application Emojis

> Upload and manage custom emojis your character can use across every Discord server it's in — no server-level permissions needed.

# Application Emojis

<Note>
  Application Emojis is a **new** feature currently in beta.
</Note>

Navigate to **Discord → BOT → Emojis** on your character's dashboard.

Application Emojis are custom emojis tied directly to your character's Discord application — not to any individual server. This means the character can use them in **any** server it's added to, without needing upload permissions in that server.

## Emoji Quota

The top of the page shows your current emoji usage against the limit:

```
1 / 2000
```

You can store up to **2,000 application emojis** across all characters.

## Adding Emojis

| Option       | Description                                                                                          |
| ------------ | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Upload** | Upload a custom image or GIF directly to use as an emoji |
| **Emoji.GG** | Opens [Emoji.GG](https://emoji.gg) — a community library of Discord emojis you can browse and import |

<Tip>
  Use Application Emojis for character-specific reactions, custom symbols, or branded visual elements your character uses frequently in responses. Because they're application-scoped, they work universally without relying on individual server emoji slots.
